A YMCA/USD 259 partnership makes possible an on-site Child Development Center (CDC) at Metro-Meridian. All YMCA/USD 259 CDCs are licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program, and use child care funding from the Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services to supplement costs for student parents.
During the summer months, a sign-up list and admission packets are available
in
the school office. Approximately two weeks before the start of school, the
CDC director will contact any student who has signed the list. More
information may also be obtained by calling the YMCA Child Development Centers
office at 264-1610, ext 3.
