How To Apply

Applications
Applications are available in the office at Metro-Meridian, at the USD 259 website, or in the counselor's office of most high schools.  After a student's application has been received and processed, the parent or guardian will be called and an interview will be scheduled with the principal.

Interviews

Students must be accompanied to the interview by a parent or guardian.  In addition to visiting with the principal, enrollment paperwork will be completed.  If accepted, the student will then visit the counselor to develop a schedule and a Plan of Graduation.  A typical interview appointment will take approximately one hour.

Waiting List

When Metro-Meridian has reached its student capacity, applicants are placed on a waiting list based on the number of credits they have already earned -- the more credits they have, the higher on the list they are placed.  An applicant's age and attendance history will also be considered.  When the school has an opening, the applicant from the top of the list is notified.

Applications are only good for the current school year; if a student is not called and wants to be considered for the following year, a new application will need to be completed.

Out-of-District Applications

Prior to Official Enrollment (September 20), applications from those living outside the USD 259 boundaries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  After the Official Enrollment date, students living outside the USD 259 boundaries will be served after those living within the district.
