The Metro-Meridian library is the coolest place to be! Students
may come to the library with a pass from their assigned teacher to use the
computers, do research or check out materials.Books are checked out for
three weeks. There is no charge for overdue items, but unreturned
items will be charged to students at replacement cost. Current
magazines and reference sources are used in the library.
Several
direct internet connections are available on a sign-up basis.
Students must have a Student Access Contract, signed by a parent,
on file in the school office.
Students also have access to EBSCO, a periodical/newspaper database
with 490
full-text K-12 magazines and more than 200 U.S. and international
newspapers. In
addition,
Plato software is utilized in our Learning Center for course credit and/or
course enhancement.
Metro-Meridian students may also borrow materials from other schools in
the district using the on-line computer. Books at WSU and Wichita
Public Libraries may also be located on-line. |
